First course – Farm to Feast Week
This is a little thing we are starting with some friends of ours and we honestly hope that it generates enough interest that we will be able to do it in the spring with 5 times as many restaurants. It’s basically a Restaurant Week type gig only each dish featured on the special menu needs to feature a local ingredient. We have some details on our site now but will be looking add menus and start a website of its own very soon. Its happening Oct 26th-30th, 2008.

Second course – shows and events
Everything got a nice little update this past weekend so be sure to check the shows, out of the box series, and jazz boot as we made a few changes to lineups and dates. We also are looking to have a decent way of telling people of when the Boot is closed for a private event. We currently have 6 from now until the end of the year and its a bummer when you drive up here and we dont let you inside.

Third course – Boot Mash
This is going to be a Boot history event. We have Team Rug Cutter in full effect which in case you don’t know that is the dynamic duo of DJ Cornbread and JC/DC. Spinning the best funk, soul, punk, pop mod rockin boogaloo ever made. Do not come to the Boot on Halloween if you want to do any of the following 1) Read a book 2) Knit a scarf and 3) Talk about why this town ain’t no fun. Get dressed up and have a good time cuz Boot don’t stop til’ the party goes pop!
