Two incredible acts! The unofficial country/southern music series that’s blessed us warm and wonderful all this summer comes to a close, and we are fortunate enough to have Seattle, Washington’s The Starlings to retire it for us. Their storytelling style plucks and trots through thickets and thickets of Americana history, a beautiful way to spend one of the last hot nights we’ll see this year. Then indie/folk act Lucinda Black Bear comes from Brooklyn with a more modern side of things, baring harmonies and textures swimming and gorgeous. They’ve been getting a great deal of press lately and are about to embark on a couple massive tours. Beauty will abound.
