Great Lakes are a fluctuating cast of indie rock/pop veterans, originally based out of Athens, Georgia in the heart of the Elephant 6 Collective scene, with an incredible set of past rotating members, including members of Neutral Milk Hotel, Of Montreal, and Gnarls Barkley. They play a wonderfully solid blend of indie rock, psychadellia, Springsteen, classic pop and much more. Local Captain of Reggae Jesse Chong will be playing with his band as well, and if you weren’t here last time he played, it officially became the unofficial party of Summer.
