CSA

Okay so this idea is not so new and its popularity is growing but for people of this area it is mostly unheard. Just so you know there is an excellent one in this area and we hope you sign up as it is the most fun way to get food if you dont have the ability to grow it yourself.

Community Supported Agriculture. In short you buy a share of a farm and then you get a weekly delivery featuring a portion of the harvest during the growing season. You dont know what you are going to get but it is guaranteed to be fresh and certainly local. It ends up being about the same you would pay in a grocery store for the same items but chances are currently you buy expensive processed foods with neat packages (no judgement is being made here; we are human and we are subject to neat packages) so in the end you save money and gain adventure at the dinner table not to mention health and longevity.
