At least Leland thinks so, and so does everyone else here and we just found out that the next taste test at The Virginian Pilot will be on calamari. So come on out and give ours a try. This is how we celebrate everyday so be sure to vote on your favorite. This is how it’s done:

People who want to nominate a restaurant’s calamari can e-mail the restaurant’s name and location to tastetest@pilotonline.com

OR

They can call the taste test line at 446-2334 and leave the restaurant’s name and location.

People can nominate themselves to be a taste test judge at either of those places, too. Now that is the deal. Nominate yourself to be a judge - The Boot says to anyone who hasn’t done anything cool in 6 months, nominate yourself as a Taste Test Judge. Actually from now on whenever you make a reservation do not leave your name, just say Taste Test Judge. We will totally give you biscotti and cookies!
