doors open at 9 pm for this mega show. if you come early and sit at a table without ordering dinner we will hit you on the head with a mustard bottle. just kidding my lovely local produce eaters. However just to let you know this may be the biggest show of the year and you really need to get pumped about Darsombra even though Buzzard is king in Norfolk. This is big time experimental mathy low end tribal music at its best. If you miss this show you will just have to lie to your friends and say you were there. It's like that.

Dance rock doesn't get much better than this. You dance in your bedroom to the Bravery, the Killers, or maybe the Arctic Monkeys but at the Boot you'll have to sweat it out to our hand picked road barren hip shakers. You will want to get as close as you can because in 5 years you'll hop on eBay to sell the sweat that hit you in the face at this show. Michael Sembello was at a show just like this before he wound up lost in the jungle with a skirt and a hand drum. We like our maniacs real crazy at the Boot now hit the dancefloor.

when you hit an after party you want there to be champagne and glitter but more importantly you need the people who wear sunglasses inside. Well here at the Boot we consider those elements to a table staple. When we take it over the top, we do it like the Black President. We get tribal with our horn section and make the lights go low. To make this afterparty extra special we will not only be slaying some of the most premiere afrobeat in the house but we will have a beaded necklace station where we will be putting together dope afterparty fashion!

Brown Bird will be the quiet opening for this show and it will be oh so delicate. Papa tell me about the first snowfall the year you built our cabin. Well son there was a little Brown Bird and he said on to me "Beware for if you put the nursery on the southern face, the wolves will get your baby." I thought about it for a while as I didn't want to have to reset the pilings as the ground had already froze, but then again it was a talking bird so that is why you got the big room and me and your ma sleep in the little room barely hold our bed. Anyhow sure as bees like pudding we were sleeping one night and a wolf jumped through our window. I hit that wolf with a wooden spoon and knocked him clean out. That wolf was NOXAGT. He's a wild one.
