| Hello Ladies and Gents, we at Relative and The Boot would like to extend an invitation to several fun filled events coming up on the Boot's calendar. March is getting jam packed with shows as it tends to do from all the bands travelling to and fro SXSW Music Festival. I think we have 22 shows booked for March. We just can't say no to all this beautiful talent. Anyhow we will get all of the dates posted this weekend but for now just pay attention to the few we are mentioning in this newsletter.

Two of these musical wonders have had the fine pleasure of playing Relative Theory. Homemade Knives is from Richmond and is a quiet and sensual americana round table discussion. You will definitely feel the firelight when the start off the evening. Cinemasophia also from Richmond is kind of like a whirlwind of phrenetic guitars and beats over their introspective vocals. They have been working on lots of new material so we shall see what they have in store for us. The newcomer is Truman Sparks and they had the pleasure of opening up for Mogwai last year and from the sound of it, they bear frankenscense and murr? can I get spell check in this piece?

The Ghent Winter Bar Tour has the Boot on its list and we are happy to take part. All the proceeds for this fine event go to Make-A-Wish Foundation and is quite the reason to celebrate where you live. The Boot will be having a special on all Virginia Beer and Liquor at $2.50 a serving. Hot Tomales! Be sure to sign up as the starting point is at Zio's and you need your ticket to get the specials. Get out there and have good time. Taxi and shuttle services will be available.

We are taking it back to the fiyah of the lit dance floor. Be sure to get out your hot pants as DJ Big Dose will be taking the sounds at the Boot into slick skin mode. Serving up the best in house, soul, disco, and funk we will be remmebering the days of Larry Levan's Paradise Garage. This is our exclusive good time party where we all get happy after working for a full week. The we go home and we tell people the next day at church how much rug they cut the night before. Save me!
